Literally meaning “peacock”, the Kujaku resembles a Hariwake, but with black reticulated scales across its body similar to Matsuba. In contrast to other metallic koi, this breed of koi has been well developed. Doitsu variants of Kujaku can sometimes be mistaken for Kin Kikokuryu.
