Heisei Nishiki is the Doitsu (German-scaled) variant of Yamato Nishiki, Yamato Nishiki themselves are a metallic variant of Taisho Sanshoku. Heisei Nishiki and Yamato Nishiki are an uncommon breed in the koi industry.
