Goldorado Aquatics currently only ships to the 48 states in the contiguous United States. Depending on the order and arrangement, we can potentially make exceptions sending orders to Hawaii, however it is up to the buyer to prepare any required permits or licenses to import livestock (live fish) into the state. Please send an email at sales@goldoradoaquatics.com if you wish to arrange a special order outside of the 48 states in the contiguous United States. Shipping and sales may be delayed during the months of October and December.

All livestock (live fish) orders will be sent by overnight shipping for the health and survival of the animals; we will generally use either UPS or FedEx as our shipping provider. There is a flat rate of $45 shipping regardless of the destination; all orders $300 and higher will be eligible for free shipping. Please arrange the proper date that you will be available to pick up your order as soon as possible; poor timing or absence of the buyer may have negative consequences on the health and wellbeing of the live animal.

Free Limited Local Delivery

We do offer delivery, but delivery is limited to locations generally within or around 20-30 minutes from Sacramento, California. However, be sure to contact us and make arrangements before attempting to place an order to request delivery; failure to do so will result in a rejection of your order.

Shipping Time

Orders on livestock (live fish), koi in particular may take a few days before being ready to ship to our buyers. Koi will be not be fed 2-3 days prior to shipping to minimize the risk of ammonia build up. We may use methylene blue in the water holding the live fish; care should be taken as it may stain clothes, skin, and possibly cause minor irritation.

We take many steps to make sure that our livestock (live fish) will arrive alive. However, failure to properly acclimate, quarantine, pick up the package, or mishandling of live animals falls upon the responsibility of the buyer. We understand that bad weather, mishandling by shipping providers, and other unforeseen circumstances may result in the death of sensitive fish such as fry and juveniles; in the situation that a fish comes in dead on arrival (DOA), please view our "Refund Policy" page and contact our email at sales@goldoradoaquatics.com.
